Drains fail slowly and then suddenly. A hairline crack lets in roots, a joint settles a few millimetres, and a line that worked for decades starts blocking every winter. The fix does not have to mean digging a trench through your garden or drive.
Where the pipe is structurally sound enough, we repair drains from the inside by relining: a resin-impregnated liner is inserted into the pipe and cured in place, creating a new, jointless pipe within the old one. Localised damage can often be fixed with a patch liner over just the defective section. No-dig repairs mean no ruined lawns, no broken driveways, and usually a single day of work.
Where a line has genuinely collapsed or back-fallen, excavation is the honest answer, and we do that too, digging only the section that needs it. Every repair starts from CCTV evidence, so you are paying to fix a known defect, not to explore.

Relining versus digging
Relining wins on disruption, speed and usually cost when the host pipe still holds its shape. Excavation wins when the pipe has collapsed, lost its fall, or is so deformed a liner cannot seat. A survey tells us which side of the line your drain is on before any money is committed.
Insurance may cover it
Accidental damage to underground services is covered by many buildings insurance policies. Our survey reports and footage are written to support a claim where one applies.

How long does relining last?
A properly installed cured-in-place liner is a structural repair with a design life of decades, comparable to new pipework.
Will you need to dig up my drive?
Usually not. Liners are installed through existing access points such as manholes and rodding eyes. Excavation is reserved for collapsed or badly deformed sections that a liner cannot fix.
How disruptive is the work?
Most domestic relining jobs are completed in a day, and you can normally use your drains again the same evening once the liner has cured.
